About us – Alexandra Indoor Heated Pool

Alexandra Indoor Heated Pool Inc. is a community-managed group started by local parents of children.

We are located at 53 Nihil Street, Alexandra
in the beautiful Murrindindi Shire region, in Taungurung country in 
North East Victoria.

Our group’s objective remains to provide a cost-effective heated pool in a venue that can be utilised for twelve months of the year for the health, well-being, and safety of all Murrindindi residents.

This will allow us to provide personalised group and individual water safety and swimming lessons for all ages.

We currently offer Learn to Swim for babies, preschool, school-aged children, and adults as well as self-paced exercise for adults.
( this is dependent on the availability of staff.)

Our pool is a solar-heated above-ground salt mineral water pool with access for all abilities.

We need to acknowledge the teams from Pick My Project https://pickmyproject.vic.gov.au/  and FRRR https://www.frrr.org.au/
Their support has been enormous in getting us to this stage, along with support from Murrindindi Shire Council and our landlord.

None of this would have been possible without our volunteers, our community, and our business community who were with us every step of the way…..
even through the virus years.
